Welcome to Strength for Today, Bright Hope for Tomorrow! My goal, and the purpose of this blog, is to encourage young women in their daily life and their walk with God. The wonderful hymn Great Is Thy Faithfulness, which contains the line “Strength for today, bright hope for tomorrow”, has become a favorite of mine as God has given me strength each day to follow Him, and the bright hope for both my earthly future and eternity in Heaven. As Christ brings me strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, I hope you find it as well. Great is HIS faithfulness!

Mentoring Seminar Update
I had a wonderful time at the Passing the Truth Along mentoring seminar this past weekend. While I went to the seminar to learn how to mentor young women, all weekend I found myself being mentored. I was blessed by Amy Vest’s sweet spirit and her love for the Lord, encouraged in my relationship with Jesus Christ, and inspired to reach out to the young women around me. I would love to share with each of you the truths Amy shared and the things God taught me. However, to tell you everything I learned over the weekend would make for a very long post! Instead, I plan to post a little at a time over the next few weeks. So stay tuned!
